A local customer’s
experience

“Orange Mango did a great job at our house in Jefferson City. Super easy to work with, showed up when they said they would, and we’ve had way fewer bugs since the service.”

What are you noticing?

Start with the signs.
Tell us where they appear.

A sighting, a sound, or damaged packaging gives us a place to start. Note the room or building, when you noticed it, and whether the activity is repeating. One sign alone does not identify the species.

Droppings or damaged packaging

Tell us where you found possible droppings, gnaw marks, or damaged food packaging. Note nearby food, pet food, trash, and stored materials. Do not handle droppings to gather evidence.

Sightings or recurring noises

Describe the location and time of a sighting or noise, including activity in living spaces, storage areas, or the garage. A sound alone cannot establish whether a mouse, rat, or something else is involved.

Signs around more than one building

Mention sheds, workshops, detached garages, and shared spaces separately. We confirm which structures and areas are included rather than assuming one home’s coverage extends to every building.

Our rodent-control approach

Inspect the activity.
Explain the placement.

Interior and exterior baiting starts with the reported activity, property conditions, and agreed service area. Tell us about indoor signs even if you first contacted us about rodents outside.

Baiting does not close entry holes or repair a building. We discuss observed conditions and explain where separate maintenance or repair work may be needed.

Review the affected areas

We inspect the activity you report and discuss food sources, stored materials, access, and previous control measures. Let us know if the same signs appear in more than one room or structure.

Discuss appropriate baiting locations

We explain the recommended interior and exterior placement and the areas included in your service. Tell us where children and pets spend time and which spaces have restricted access before placement is agreed.

Monitor & respond to new signs

We discuss monitoring and follow-up under your service terms. Keep the agreed areas accessible and report new or continuing activity. Do not move or open service stations yourself; contact us about placement concerns.

Before and between visits

Useful observations.
Less guesswork.

Keep a dated record of where you see activity and share previous service information. You do not need to collect droppings or disturb a suspected nest for the inspection.

Found droppings?

Do not vacuum or sweep rodent droppings, urine, or nesting materials. Follow the CDC’s rodent cleanup guidance for handling contaminated areas. Baiting service does not replace safe cleanup practices.

Property care between pest-control visits ↗
  • Share the locations and dates.Identify the room, building, and type of sign. Tell us whether activity is new, continuing, or appearing somewhere different.
  • Keep food and waste contained.Secure pantry items, pet food, birdseed, and trash. Mention food storage and waste areas when we discuss the inspection.
  • Plan for access.Tell us about pets, locked gates, storage areas, and other access restrictions. Ask before moving anything that could disturb suspected nesting materials.
  • Leave service stations in place.Follow placement and access instructions. Let us know about construction, new signs, or concerns about a station so we can discuss follow-up.

Rodent control questions

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Is indoor and outdoor rodent baiting included in my Mango plan?

Yes. Core, Plus and Max all include interior and exterior rodent baiting. We inspect reported activity and discuss baiting locations, monitoring and the areas included in your service scope.

Do you trap rodents or seal entry holes?

No. Orange Mango provides rodent baiting and does not provide trapping, removal, exclusion, or structural repair work. Report suspected entry points during the inspection so we can discuss which concerns need a separate provider.

How much does rodent control cost?

Mango Core starts at $49 per month for qualifying homes and includes interior and exterior rodent baiting with general household-pest protection. Mango Plus starts at $79 and adds termite baiting and monitoring; Mango Max starts at $109 and adds seasonal mosquito service. Final pricing, initial service charges, included buildings, and terms are confirmed after inspection. These are residential plan prices, not flat prices for every rodent concern.

What should I do before and after rodent service?

Before the inspection, record where and when you notice sightings, noises or damaged packaging, and tell us about pets and access restrictions. After service, follow the placement and access instructions, leave bait stations where they were placed, and report new or continuing activity so we can discuss follow-up.

What if I have children or pets at home?

Tell us where children and pets spend time before service. We discuss appropriate baiting locations and the placement and access instructions for your property. Do not open or move service stations yourself. Contact Orange Mango if a station is disturbed or you have concerns about its location.

Should I wait until the next visit to report more rodent activity?

No. Contact us when you notice new or continuing signs and describe the location and date. We discuss monitoring and follow-up under your agreed service scope. Monthly billing does not mean monthly visits; scheduled general pest service occurs every two months.

Can you help with a rental property or business?

Yes. Identify the responsible manager, affected units or buildings, and any signs in shared spaces. Trash storage, deliveries, access, and detached buildings can affect the proposal. Commercial and multifamily work receives a separate quote. See our commercial pest-control service or contact us with the property details.
